Night watch

Jer:

I have a love/hate relationship with the night watch. Tonight is on the love end of the spectrum. It is a TV commercial quality night. A more worthy person would be inspired to write a poem or compose a sonata on a night such as tonight. Ha. I’m content with sitting outside, staring at the sea, sky, and horizon. I’ve been up for 2 hours and haven’t even cracked my book.

There is something to be said about having all of this peace and quiet during a time that would be fun, but semi-frantic if we were back in “real” life. I don’t have much as far as Christmas gifts for the family, and probably won’t end up with much, but have some odd local items I picked up here and there. I’m sure the local pumice stones I bought in Sicily will be a big hit.

It’s too nice out to sit inside typing. Plus the screen is giving me a headache.

Tomorrow night I will provide the low down on the half way point celebration.

I never read a poem or sonnet that transported me to such a beautiful place like you described. Love/Hate, + the part about 2 hours gazing at sea, sky, horizon.

Side note: I will likely be transporting back during my hectic day.

    Thank you for sharing!
