On the hard

We are back in Grenada aboard Agility in the Clarke’s Court Marina boatyard. I have always dreaded “living on the hard” (terminology for staying on the boat when it is out of the water), but 24 hours into it, I have no complaints. The weather is surprisingly mild and much cooler than it was on December, the yard has nice restrooms and showers, and a decent restaurant. Yesterday I had a lot of organizing to do and Tim has been busy following up with the work that has been done on Agility while we were gone. We have nice neighbors that understand boundaries involved when living only several feet away and have a little rental car parked under the boat.

Today I need to work on provisioning and some other stuff. I see some r&r in store as well. Very important after 3 days of doing nothing at the resort! Need to ease into this life of sailing.

This weekend we will join our friends Ryan, Wynn, and Gus in Petit St Vincent where Ryan’s dad Ted is celebrating his 80th birthday. It should be a lot of fun and we’re looking forward to hopefully taking some people out for a ride, doing some diving, and hanging out. We’re very much looking forward to it

We have about 10 days of quiet time before the St Marten regatta and Deb and Arlyn visiting us. Then a little over a month before my brother and his family come out. So lots to be excited about.

I see that Tim has made another major announcement on his blog post. Good lord.
