We’ve been at the marina working for a couple weeks now getting repairs completed from the cargo ship collision and warranty items. Most of the important/safety stuff has been completed, but as always with boats there are several loose ends that need to be tied up.
On Sat we will join the the Tahiti to Moorea rendezvous
http://www.tahiti-moorea-sailing-rdv.com/ and check out Cooks Bay. We’ll come back to Marina Taina for paint, some electric and our second autopilot repair and maybe a few other things.
After that we’ll head out to Bora Bora and the Society Islands for a few weeks before our darling daughters and their significant others join us for. Can’t wait.
The picture of the day is from the Abacos when we did a trial run before our 16 months of cruising with the kids. They were 12 and 9 at the time posing with their Grandpa, my Dad. This grand adventure wouldn’t have been possible if not for my Dad who instilled a love of cruising in us.
Did I miss something about the cargo ship collision? lauren and I have been following along and love hearing about your adventure?
It wouldn’t be an adventure if it was all easy
